Working to provide road-ready bikes for those who cannot afford them, South Bend Bike Garage (SBBG) is a volunteer-based organization that offers numerous volunteering opportunities for locals looking to advance a safe and affordable transportation system within the community. SBBG was recently named gold status as Bike Friendly Business. Specifically, volunteers are tasked with cleaning and repairing bikes, creating an inventory of bike parts and supplies, and cleaning the shop area! Work clothes and closed toed shoes are required.
